ENVISION EMR leads the 3rd generation EMR systems that encompass images and documents as an integral part of the patient charts. No longer is each device a proprietary "island of information" that uses its own image storage. With ENVISION EMR, physicians and techs do not need to "go" to the device to review patient images. 

ENVISION EMR captures images from all types of Ophthalmologic devices such as the Fundus Camera, Slit Lamp, and Corneal Topographer. Images are imported from most proprietary formats into industry standard formats such as: DICOM, JPEG, TIF, MPEG etc. 

 

 

 

 

 

All of those images are stored in ENVISION EMR , enabling "before and after treatment" comparison.  Care providers can evaluate problems by images from different devices side-by-side.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"A picture is worth a thousand words", ENVISION EMR  supports presentation of findings by annotated  Ophthalmic "templates". 

All of the annotated templates are stored as "Images" in patient charts for future analysis and comparison. Smart annotation tools including phrases and industry common "icons" are fully modifiable by provider.

All images are readily available for integration within a referral letter to support and clarify specialist assessments.
